Walking into Capitol Theater was like stepping into "IT" in "A Wrinkle In Time." It's a quaint old movie theater with a lot of charm. You essentially have a wall in front of you.
I didn't want to waste any more of my precious time on this matter, but I felt compelled to save anyone who cares to read this from going there. Not only do I not enjoy going to formula theaters, but Capitol Theatre (and Somerville Theatre) offer great matinee deals before 5pm - $7/ticket! It becomes unbearable after about 20 minutes. You can bring a few decorations but you don't really need it if your party is for over 16. I have a feeling that same order at Showcase Cinemas would force me to take out a second mortgage on my home. That same ticket would have been $12 at showcase cinemas. Tickets here are cheaper than the big chains, but you must walk up and buy them so its first come, first serve so stop by earlier or they may sell out hot new movies.
