Cant take anything away for that. I love the "local" feeling I get in this theater - I have yet to see other theaters provide that same level of gratefulness and respect for their patrons. Mr Rogers is a very quiet movie, so we heard the constant rumble of action scenes going on through the entire thing.

Over all it has been ok. A few ups and downs. The combination of state of the art video and sound, consistent community support and a great family atmosphere make Essex Cinemas the Best Choice in Cinema Entertainment in Vermont. Management is very accomadating and with a bar and the T-Rex auditorium it makes for an amazing experience. Essex Cinemas is the first indoor movie theater in Chittenden County to announce its reopening, with plans to show outdoor films starting Friday before offering indoor screenings Aug. 28. Then again this is how they make their money! Essex Cinemas will reopen its indoor theaters next week under the 50% capacity guidelines set by the state of Vermont.

I have only had one bad experience during the showin of The Hobbit when the audio system died but was quickly given a ticket to return whenever I liked! Overpriced popcorn and soda, lousy service, and you request tips. I go out of my way to use this theater over some of the other ones around us. This is the best. The Essex Cinemas is located in the Essex Outlet Plaza. We did get some overpriced popcorn and soda, which is necessary for me when I go to the movies.
So during in light coloring you could see the burnt image on the screen.
Typically a pretty good place to go for a movie.
