In reality, Tatum was only with her best friend because she was trying to protect her from her boyfriend who was the real thief. I had so much fun reading It Started with Goodbye. It was a really great read and I’m so happy that NetGalley granted my wish! It had a lot more depth to it than the synopsis lets on. Ashlyn, at the beginning I felt was a tad childish for not talking to Tatum, but this was just out of embarrassment for her actions and for getting Tate into trouble.
