It has unfortunate anti-synergy with Shadowjeweler Hanar, but in the end do you really care that you lost out on some potential future Secrets when your 2-drop got upgraded to a 5-drop?
True, running those two I have on occasion come up against a full hand, because the only low drops I can play are targeted (Sap, Backstab) on an empty board or card generating themselves (damn you inconvenient Dranconic Lackey!) That in general just seems quite strong, and if you can just play it as one card, then it's even stronger. "Choose from three great options: Mage, Hunter or Try Again".
