My Uncle George (Army/Sgt)fought in the Pacific Theatre in a Tank Corp during World War II, my brother David,(Army/Sgt) signed up twice was in the 3rd wave of the Normandy Beach D-Day invasion, my brothers, Norman (Navy-radar) and John (Army, Intelligence) served in the Korean War, brother Paul (Air Force) during the Vietnam War, my brother George was a civilian working as the General Manager at the PX - Post Exchange (rank Major) during the Vietnam and investigated/exposed the black marketing (Sears Catalog, Cutty Sark deals by a USA General and a Vietnam General) and my son, David (Navy), who was in the Desert Storm in the Middle East.A special Oooo Rah to Sun-E's son (Marine) serving in Iraq!

We were excited to go to enjoy the Open House Fall Feast, held at the beautiful, historic Green Room at the San Francisco War Veterans Memorial (401 Van Ness Ave). The full Thanksgiving meal was turkey w/all the fixings, and a nice helping of pumpkin pie to finish! Thank you all to; the catering, service staff, set up crews & outside volunteers - You made everyone happy. You even have time at Sonoma Square Plaza to eat lunch at your own expense.
