Great taste, friendly staff, 2 blocks from Orpheus theater (Hamilton). First, it's gorgeous, very tasteful and interesting furnishings. but tiny.... not the “shareable salad” it was described as. As at 9/28, everything listed online was $1-2 more in store than online. The portions are adequate but not abundant, so if you feel hungry enough to get appetizer and first course and main course, go for it. The food was amazing. Granted, it's not a decor I would actually want to live in, but it was super fun to experience the unique vibe.

On account of the sky high pricing, this came off as very pretentious and prevented us from enjoying our meal. The ugly: Its got a wonderful ambience inside and an upscale vibe being right in the Proper hotel. Many reviewers note that you can drink delicious wine, beer or tequila at Villon. We had a special prefix menu which included alcohol pairing.
